Getting Started with Google (CSV)

Orum allows you to quickly and easily import your leads using a Google CSV file, enabling seamless dialing with all the relevant information at your fingertips. 

This guide will walk you through the process of setting up your Google CSV import and ensuring everything is configured correctly for your team's needs.

🚨Your Gmail account must be a Business Gmail. You can create a business Gmail account here.

Recommended Browser: Chrome

For the best performance with Orum, we recommend using the Chrome browser. Please make sure you have the latest version installed.

Preparing Your Google CSV File

Before importing your leads into Orum, you'll need to prepare your CSV file. Follow these guidelines to ensure your file is properly formatted:

  1. Column Headers: Ensure your CSV file includes the following required column headers:

    • First Name

    • Last Name

    • Phone Number

    • Email Address

    • Company Name

    • Job Title

    • Custom Fields (if applicable)

  2. Formatting Tips:

    • Make sure phone numbers are in a standard format, including the country code (e.g., +1 for the U.S.).

    • Avoid special characters in any fields to prevent errors during import.

    • Use consistent naming conventions across all fields for clarity.

Importing Your CSV File into Orum

Once your CSV file is prepared, follow these steps to import it into Orum:

  1. Log in to your Orum account.

  2. Go to the Dialer tab

  3. On the lefthand side of the Dialer, select the List dropdown

  4. At the bottom of the dropdown, select Import a new CSV

  5. In the popup that emerges at the center of your screen, complete the required fields and upload your file

  6. Click Import

  7. Select the List dropdown again. Find the list you just imported and begin dialing!

If you want to make cosmetic changes to the List or modify its original data, you need to make those changes in the CSV file and repeat the import process. Whatever calling activity you complete against the List will be saved in Analytics and Call History.
