There are a couple of ways to restrict calls in Orum based on your preferences and prospect data. Whether you’re an admin setting broad restrictions or a user manually excluding certain area codes, these methods will help you effectively manage and restrict calls to specific regions.

If you are an admin and want to restrict calls to specific states, follow these steps:
To exclude certain states from being dialed, you’ll need to ensure that the “State” field is added to Orum’s prospect list. Here’s how:

Orum will now automatically exclude calls to the specified state(s) when dialing.
If you want to restrict calls based on specific area codes while you're on the Dialer, you can use this manual method:
While on the Dialer, you can quickly search for prospects with certain area codes by using your browser’s search function. Here’s how:
Once you find prospects with the specific area code, follow these steps to restrict calls to them:
Click on the prospect with the restricted area code.
Choose the Snooze option for that prospect.
Important: Do not select Cancel because this will reset their status and bring them back into your call list or tasks when the page refreshes.
By snoozing these prospects, they will be temporarily removed from your calling queue, ensuring they aren’t dialed during your session.
