With Personal Settings, You Can:

• Modify personal settings or profile.
• Add or edit profile photos.
• Apply personal settings and preferences across Orum.

Where to find user specific settings

From the top navigation bar of Orum, you will be able to manage personal settings on the righthand side.

Once "Personal Settings" is clicked a popup for your personal settings should show allowing you to manage those settings and add or remove your photo.

Keep in mind if no photo has been added or if you have removed your photo, Orum will use your initials for your photo.

Admin users will see the system settings gear next to their profile photo.

Admin users will also be able to access a specific user’s settings from the new "People" tab in Settings

All settings that can be set on an individual user level will be here (including Superuser settings).

• They’re separated into Integrations and System settings
• Settings have been simplified with shorter and more clear names and descriptions
• Users will be able make changes to multiple settings within Integrations or Systems and only need to click save once at the bottom.
  • The save button will enable when we detect that changes have been made. If they try to navigate away from the area they will see a warning indicating there are changes there that need to be saved.

Profile Photos

When a user clicks into their own profile and hasn’t uploaded an image it will look like the example below

When you click "Add Photo" it will allow you to drag and drop an image to upload it or use the file browser to select one to upload

Once selected, your photo can be resizes and adjusted before saving

Your photo can be updated or removed at any time 

Once your profile picture has been added you'll see it throughout Orum as seen in these examples:

• We will continue to add profile photos to different areas of Orum as we update the platform.

Similar to how Automotive manufacturers are not responsible for ensuring drivers are going the speed limit - we are providing the tool, but it is up to our users to be aware of any local laws, regulations, or policies and use that tool in compliance with those.

We simply cannot stay up to date on laws, regulations, or policies across so many countries, states, provinces, counties, cities, or companies. Even if we were somehow able to keep up with those, building barriers within our product to ensure users are compliant with each and every one would be nearly impossible.
