Subject: Orum users are encouraged to use Google Chrome as their browser.  It is important that Chrome is updated and the newest version is being utilized.  This knowledge article covers how a user can check which version of Chrome they are using and how to update if needed.

Resolution:

- The following steps have been extrapolated from a Google Support article linked here. Please see the full version of this article for additional information from Google and other helpful resources.

- To determine whether or not Google Chrome needs to be updated, please use the following steps:

1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. At the top right, look at More .
3. If an update is pending, the icon will be colored:
   • Green: An update was released less than 2 days ago.
   • Orange: An update was released about 4 days ago.
   • Red: An update was released at least a week ago.

- If Chrome needs to be updated, please use the following steps:

1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. At the top right, click More .
3. Click Help  About Google Chrome.
4. Click Update Google Chrome.
   • Important: If you can't find this button, you're on the latest version.
5. Click Relaunch.
