Orum Dialer: Filter & Sort
Updated 6 months ago

Subject: This article is about Filtering and Sorting - two dialer features available for all Orum integrations. This guide covers how these features work as well as best practices for each.

What does Filter do and how can I apply filters?

Filtering will add or remove Prospects and numbers from your list depending on whichever filters you apply. You are probably used to this technology in other platforms, it works similarly in Orum.

Click the Filter button to reveal the Filter Menu on the left, then apply your desired filters. Orum offers many valuable filters out of the box.

After you apply your desired filters, your list will reload to reflect them.

Salesforce only: you can configure custom filter options by sending our Support team the API name of the field you wish to filter by! Popular fields to filter by are timezone, lead status, states, vertical, and campaigns. In addition to the API Name, please send the Orum Team the specific Salesforce object the field is associated with (Lead, Contact, etc.)

What does Sort do and how do I use it?

Sorting will rearrange your list depending on the Sort option you select. It does not add or remove Prospects and Numbers like filtering does.

Simply click the "Sort by:" button and select the new value you wish to sort by. Your list will reload in that new order.

What Sort By options are there?

These vary by integration, but typically match Displayed Fields you have setup. For example, if you have Name, Title, and Account configured as Displayed Fields, you will see those as options under the "Sort By:" dropdown. With this in mind, add a new Displayed Field under your personal settings if you want to sort by that information!

Some integrations like Outreach have native Sort By options as well, like "Engagement." These typically match the technology that exists in the integrated platform. In other words, if you sort by Engagement in Orum, you should see a similar list if you were to sort by Engagement in Outreach.

  • There are instances where it is not a 1:1 match, like if duplicate tasks exist for a prospect or if some are email tasks. That being said, you can be confident the matchup is close enough to dial against.
