What is a failed or busy number?

A failed or busy call is when you attempt to call a number, and the line immediately disconnects or you hear the standard busy signal. The following is a screenshot of how Orum looks when failed numbers are automatically removed and are unavailable to be dialed:

How does Orum determine a failed number?

To detect a failed number, we look for failed calls across our entire user base aunanymously  , not just 1 specific user. This allows us to more quickly identify numbers that might be 'bad', and also quickly identify if the number isn't (let's say the number was just out of service for a few days but then comes back in service). This protocol his how Orum detects and determines failed numbers.

How to Skip Failed or Busy Numbers

Orum can be set up to skip failed numbers by checking the box "Auto Skip busy/failed calls" when power dialing.

This automation is built in on the parallel dialer.
