Subject: This knowledge article discusses the Teams functionality found within the "People" settings of Orum. It shows how to build and manage teams, as well as a description of how the feature is applied throughout Orum.
With Teams, You Can:
- Build teams directly within Orum
- Import existing teams from Outreach, Salesloft, or Salesforce
- Apply team filters in Orum's Analytics, Call History, and Salesfloor
- Enable your reps to view Analytics and Call History data for their fellow teammates

Where To Find Teams Settings
Note: Companies must purchase a qualifying Orum package to use Teams.
To configure Teams or manage settings, users can navigate to Settings > Teams. The menus on the lefthand side of the screen can be expanded to view available teams. These include:
- Teams created within Orum
- Teams synced from a qualified CRM (Outreach, Salesloft, and Salesforce ONLY)
How To Sync Teams From An Integration
Orum Admins can sync teams from a qualified integration.
Note: Qualified integrations are Outreach, Salesloft, and Salesforce ONLY.
By navigating to Settings > Teams, Orum Admins will have the ability to click the "SYNC TEAMS" option. Copies of your company's teams found in the integration will be added to Orum.
Note: If edits or updates need to be made to a team synced from a qualified integration, please make these edits within the integration and re-sync.
Teams that come over from integrations will sync when:
- Each time an Orum user with the appropriate access level logs in (admins)
- The "SYNC TEAMS" button is clicked
Once Teams have been properly synced, Orum Admins will see a tooltip that shows when the last sync was completed:
How To Build Teams From Within Orum
Orum Admins can build Teams from directly within Orum. There is no maximum number of teams that can be built!
From the Settings > Teams page in Orum, click the "+" icon next to "ORUM TEAMS" on the lefthand side of the page:
A modal will then appear. The user can create a team name and has the option to add users as well.
Notes on Teams created within Orum:
- Reps can be added to more than one team
- Teams cannot have the same name
- Teams built within Orum can be renamed, deleted, or edited at any time.
Once the Team has been created, it will appear on the list on the lefthand side of the screen:
Managing Teams
Note: Teams synced from a qualified integration (Outreach, Salesloft, or Salesforce ONLY) cannot be edited in Orum. To edit these teams, please do so within the integration they were synced from.
- Search: From Settings > Teams, Orum Admins can quickly search for the team they wish to view using the Search bar:
- Rename / Delete Team: The triple dots on the top righthand side Settings > Teams allows Orum Admins to rename or delete teams. Please note that teams cannot have the same name.
- Adding Reps To A Team: From Settings > Teams, Orum Admins can click the blue "ADD PEOPLE" button on the top righthand side of the screen:
A popup modal will then appear and the Orum Admin can select one or reps they would like to add to the team:
- Remove Reps From a Team: From Settings> Teams, Orum Admins can find the name of the rep they wish to remove from a team, click the associated triple dots on the righthand side of the screen, and select "REMOVE FROM TEAM":
Teams Behavior Throughout Orum
Admin User Filter Behavior:
- Orum Admins have the ability to filter both Analytics and Call History by Team. Simply use the "TEAM" filter pull-down menu from either page.
- If there are not any Teams configured, Admins will see the following tooltip:
- If Teams have been configured, Admins will see options for "ALL TEAMS" and "MY TEAMS" followed by the entire list of available Teams in Orum:
- All user access levels will be able to filter Salesfloor by any team so specific sets of reps can be targetted for coaching or learning:
Rep User Filter Behavior:
- Reps have the ability to see and filter Analytics and Call History for any team they are a member of. Manager Note: Disposition editing will be locked on Call History for any call that is not their own.
- If there are not any Teams configured, reps will see the following tooltip:
- If Teams have been configured, Admins will see options for "MY TEAMS" followed by the entire list of Teams the rep is a member of:
- All user access levels will be able to filter Salesfloor by any team so specific sets of reps can be targetted for coaching or learning:
