Managing prospects within active sequences is essential for keeping your workflow efficient and organized. If you need to stop a prospect from continuing in a sequence or completing overdue call tasks in bulk, you can use the “Mark as Finished” feature.
This tool is designed to save you time by allowing you to take bulk actions within Orum rather than having to handle each prospect individually within your CRM.
Currently, this feature is supported exclusively for Outreach users. Integrations for Salesloft, Apollo, and HubSpot are coming soon.
Why Use "Mark Finished"?
Orum’s “Mark Finished” feature allows you to:
- Remove a prospect from an active sequence by marking the prospect as finished on the current step of the sequence
- Complete one-off due call tasks
- Apply these actions in bulk, saving significant time and effort
🚨Note: The “Remove Prospect” action does not remove a prospect from an active sequence. It only removes them from being dialed in Orum and as a result the due call task remains open. However, using “Mark Finished” will effectively remove the prospect from the sequence, making it a quick and easy way to clear prospects from sequences.
How to Use:
- Navigate to your List or Call Tasks and Locate Prospects: Find the prospects you want to remove from active sequences or with overdue call tasks.
- Mark a Prospect as Finished: Select the “Mark as Finished” option. Orum will automatically check if the selected prospect is active in any sequence or has a one-off due call task.
- Apply Actions for Current or All Active Sequences and Tasks: Users can apply the “Mark as Finished” action to either the current sequence/one-off task or across all active sequences and overdue tasks associated with the prospect.
Recommended Use Cases:
Scenario 1: After Booking a Meeting with a Prospect
When you book a meeting with a prospect from a specific company, you may no longer need to reach out to other prospects within that same company.
Instead of manually removing each of these additional prospects from the sequence, follow these steps:
- Identify Prospects from the Same Company: Locate other prospects within the same company in your sequence list.
- Mark Them as Finished: Use “Mark Finished” to remove these prospects from the sequence in bulk, saving time and preventing redundant follow-ups.
- Re-activate if Needed: If you need to re-engage with these prospects later, you can add them back into the sequence in your CRM or SEP.
Scenario 2: Cleaning Up Uncallables
Maintaining a clean list is critical for accurate data and seamless syncing with your CRM or SEP. Regularly reviewing and clearing out your uncallables will help avoid clutter and keep overdue call tasks to a minimum. Here’s how to use “Mark Finished” in this scenario:
- Navigate to the Uncallables Section: Find the uncallable prospects within the bottom section of your list.
- Mark as Finished: Use the “Mark Finished” feature to select the prospects with uncallable statuses you want to remove from sequences and complete the associated overdue call tasks.
This will ensure that your CRM or SEP stays up-to-date and you can stay on top of your due call tasks.
By using "Mark Finished," you’ll save time, improve list organization, and stay focused on your most valuable leads.
