Orum’s voice prompts are automatically played when a specific event or user action is taken. See below for the listing of Orum’s voice prompts as well as some recent changes we’ve made to improve the experience.

List of Voice Prompts

The following prompts have been removed to improve the user’s experience in Orum (as of January 2024):

When Voice Prompt
Dialing in-browser "Please read the instructions on your screen. When you're ready to receive calls, press start to begin dialing"
Attempting to power dial next prospect without logging a disposition "Dialing is paused."

After clicking “Start”
After clicking “Resume”

The following prompts can continue to be heard in Orum.

When Voice Prompt
Dialing in-browser "Dialed in."
Attempting to power dial next prospect without logging a disposition "You must pick a disposition to resume dialing."
Prospect hangs up / other line gets disconnected

✨ "The prospect hung up."

✨ "The call failed."

✨ "The other line was busy."

Dialing in using the alternate optionDialing in and not entering the code

Not entering the code within a couple of minutes

"To join the waiting room, type the following 8-character code into your browser {code}. Press 1 to repeat the code."
