One-off call tasks in Outreach are separate from other sequence activities and are particularly useful when calling a specific prospect. This guide will walk you through the steps to create these tasks efficiently.
Steps to Create a One-Off Call Task
-
Access the Outreach Platform: Log in to your Outreach account.
-
Open Quick Actions Menu: Click the Actions button in the top right corner of the screen.
-
Select Task: From the Quick Actions menu, select Task.
Note: Alternatively, you can add tasks to a specific Prospect or Account by navigating to the applicable Profile page and clicking the New Task icon (to-do list). -
Configure the Task:
- Set Task Type: Choose "Call" as the task type.
- Complete Other Fields: Fill in the other necessary fields, including the prospect(s) you intend to call.
- Create the Task: Click CREATE. The task will be executed as configured when it is due.
Tips for Managing One-Off Call Tasks
- Apply Tags or Priority Levels: If you have many one-off tasks, applying tags or different priority levels can help you filter and locate the specific prospect you wish to call.
- 🚨 Ensure Task Visibility: Remember that Orum will only pull a call task if it is Due/Past Due and assigned to you.
By following these steps, you can efficiently create one-off call tasks in Outreach, ensuring you stay organized and focused on your target prospects.
