Automatic Country Code Matching

What is Automatic Country Matching?

Automatic Country Matching is a capability within Orum’s AI Dialer that automatically selects the appropriate outbound "Call-From" number from your dedicated numbers to match the local country code of the prospect you are dialing. This ensures that your calls appear local to international prospects without any manual effort.

Why use it?

  • Increased Answer Rates: Prospects are significantly more likely to pick up a call from a number that matches their own country code.

  • Eliminate Manual Errors: Sales Representatives no longer need to check country codes or manually switch their outbound numbers when moving between different regions in their call list.

  • Seamless workflow: Transition from domestic to international dialing while dialing prospects from various countries.

How it Works and Key Considerations

  • Selection Logic: Orum prioritizes numbers that match the prospect's country. If no matching number is available, the system will revert to your available dedicated numbers.

  • Visibility: Settings for Country Matching are visible in the product when international dialing capabilities are enabled for your account. Note: International dialing is only available to Ascend accounts only.

  • Automatic Number Rotation: Number Rotation works alongside Automatic Country Code Matching. However, if there is only one dedicated number for a country, Orum will prioritize the country code match over rotation.

  • Personal Numbers: In regions where local numbers are difficult to procure due to regulations, using a Personal Number is the recommended alternative to ensure coverage. Country Code matching will not override a selected personal number.

How to Get Started

  1. Navigate to Manage Numbers in Orum

  2. Enable the country code matching setting

  3. Ensure you have dedicated numbers that match the countries you plan to dial
